Because the Ford Maverick is a hybrid pickup, its standard powertrain is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor to produce 191 horsepower and a fuel economy of 41 city/33 highway miles per gallon. Nevada drivers who are looking for a more traditional gas-powered engine will find it in the optional turbocharged 2.0-liter 250 horsepower four-cylinder powertrain.
