Performance
The 2024 Ford Mustang is ideal for daily cruising around town, but the higher-end trims are ready for fun at the track. Numerous powertrains are available per trim choice. This includes a 2.3-liter turbocharged engine that makes 315 horsepower and 350 pounds-feet of torque.
There's a 5.0-liter V8 that produces 480 horsepower, and it's available for the GT Fastback trim. The Dark Horse trim is monstrous as its 5.0-liter V8 cranks out an estimated 500 horsepower, and all of the power is sent to the rear wheels.
The new Mustang for 2024 is equipped with EcoBoost technology, which helps with fuel efficiency. There are also sixth-speed manual and 10-speed automatic transmissions.
Other performance features are Brembo brakes, a MagnaRide Damping system and Active Valve Exhaust. Great road agility and handling is present, and the car's steering is very accurate for making precise movements.
